Homebrew game Can someone Help Me Get New Super Mario Bros Wii Working So i can play it with the wii u gamepad using the gamepad controlls

I am currently trying to get it to work but keep failing can someone help me with getting nsmbw working on the wii u gamepad using technomoons wii vc injector or something so i can play it with the actual controls any help is appreciated thanks

The WiiU pad controls can only be used with Wii games if they support the classic controller. And NSBMW doesnt support it. You may try the project "Newer Super Mario Bros. Wii (Plus)" wich seems to have CC support.

Neither work with the gamepad. The pkus version of newer is still in development.... Last update I saw was over a year ago.

The current Newer works with CC but it still cannot be patched or played with the gamepad I'm afraid.

i saw a thread saying you need to replace the coding so you can use emulation to play nsmbw on the gamepad any way you could teach me how to do that

i changed a few games controls for Gamepad like Wimms Mario kart ..Donkey kong Wii ..& all my GameCube games ( about 70 GC Games ) ... might work >?

Guys, I'm sorry but it simply does not work with the gamepad via any current patching means. There is plenty of conversations about this on the temp and it sucks. Hard.

Wether it's down to no one being interested enough to look into it properly or if it can even be achieved is another discussion but it simply hasn't been achieved and I'm sure some people in the know would have looked at some point after how many years now?? So the short, hard, sucky answer is it can't be done at all. Yet.... But who's trying?

It’s not just New Super Mario Bros but niether Wario Land Shake It nor kirby’s Return to Dreamland work with the gamepad and believe me I tried, the compatibility list is out of date but I’m still interested.

I wonder why GC controller cannot be emulated though, there are some games that support GC controllers but not classic controllers which I’d like to convert like Sonic Riders Zero Gravity and Metal Slug Anthology.
