Yes, although after roughly a few days your certificate will require renewal and switch itself back to retail until it hits live.
Wow can we just keep changing the date back to when we enabled it so it doesn't auto do that?

I found it funny cause many many years ago, had a roommate in college that did this same dumbass branding of the school logo, but it didn't look anything like it after it healed. Just looked like a birthmark.
