You probably have 49b normal, not -fat.gameshark said:@oggzee

While if the txt file is moved along the rest of the files in the separate directory then you can't have a quick overview of all the titles. I know that a view of all the files named by ID is not pretty to look at, but i don't think moving them to separate directories will make that any better? Besides now that this is all in place and working I don't feel like changing it anymore.
the id_title.txt could be kept in the base /wbfs/ dir and the actual wbfs files in a subdir based on the game ID - imo this would look the tidiest and be the easiest way of copying games from drive to drive without accidentally missing a file.
WRT your "proximity" worries - well not all of us use windows for a start! And windows can easily be set to sort dirs/files together, rather than separate. Even if someone wanted to keep their wbfs dir sort method the same as all their others then it's not a huge stretch to know which file goes with which dir - no matter how they are sorted.
Also, at some point we will run into the fat32 files per dir limit:
"A FAT32 directory can have 65,536 directory entries. Each file and subdirectory takes from two to thirteen entries, depending on the length of its name". Not a huge issue with the small 1tb drives most people are using - but surely it's better to future proof?

One question can I load games from my harddrive WITHOUT having a wbfs partition?
It wasn't really clear for me I'm Dutch
in wbfs_file 1.9 there is a batch file converting the old files into subfolders... you can find it also some posts ago...dottor_male said:Maybe a dumb question, but to use the new folder system in v49, I have to re-rip al my games or there is a way to manually move the exysting wbfs files?
UGH Now it's not working again; And nothing changed from yesterday to todayLagunaCid said:It now works on my slightly older revision (not sure which one it is, but it is one where you cannot change saved options without discarding them first)Dr. Clipper said:What version of the loader are you using? Try making it default to ios222 or ios223 by adding "ios-222-mload" or "ios=223-mload" to your config.txt.LagunaCid said:I always do that, since it never recognizes the drive right away; I have to turn it off and on about 2 or 3 times until it does.Dr. Clipper said:What if you switch off the drive?LagunaCid said:I did. same thing.
It doesn't work on the channel version for me.
Did you try setting ios=222-mload as your default? Some drives like it to be loaded earlier than just before the game. Also, try disabling spindown on your drive if you can.LagunaCid said:UGH Now it's not working again; And nothing changed from yesterday to today
Haven't tried that yet; But now it seems to be working about 25% of the time, quite randomlyDr. Clipper said:Did you try setting ios=222-mload as your default? Fixed bug that would cause the console window to be hidden behind the main window after processing
Added option to the settings to create subdirectories on convert/extract operations

If using a forwader channel, It won't load up at all as it can't detect/load from SDHC. Now if I start it up from Homebrew Channel it loads up but images, saved options will not load from the card and if I try too save an option for one of my games it says something like 'error SD card is Inaccessible'
My 2gb run it's fine. I know it's not my card as every other homebrew that supports SDHC reads it fine, such as Wad manager, Region Changer, CIOS installer and usb loader gx.
So can anyone help me
