Hacking Corrupt Gamecube memory card

So I was happily playing through wind waker and one day my memory card decides it won't be read without formatting, thus losing all my hard work. Would it be possible to download a save from somewhere and get it onto my memory card though the homebrew channel or something? Bit of a long shot but I thought I'd ask just in case.

I tryed to transfer my saves to the SD card with the tools found at the HomebrewBrowser, but neither of those helped me to create a copy of my saves, so when I had this same problem I got pretty much screwed, sorry to not being able to answer or help you, but I'm just trying to give you the news, I'm now looking at a GC memory card with SD slot so I can copy my saves to the PC....!!

These meory cards with sd slots won't hold your game save, they only work for gamecube homebrew
