It's good. I have a 9-wire wiiclip since 2007 and had no problems, but i just can't do some PAL GC games to work.

edit: sorry, i read d2pro.

D2CPro was a knockoff of the D2Ckey with reduced wire count. The functionality won't be any better than a D2Pro so I recommend getting that or one of the new solderless mods (DriveKey, WasabiDX, Sunkey, etc.)

From red led (power off), Press reset and power button together... chip will be disabled till you do this trick again... maybe this solves problems with usb launcher...

Poor me can't do it because I cut the wire going to the reset switch.

ps: Chip's downsides are, too many wirepoints , doesn't support autoboot and you can't use it along with dvdx... (dunno if later anyone succeeded)

i used to go out to the recycling center every couple weeks and look at the crts and other electronics people would drop off. Usually screens were broken or severely scratched from being tossed around. Did find a good one here and there, but never anything like a 1080i widescreen crt.

Is it piracy if it was released for free? Not in my opinion, but I also think it's not piracy if buying it isn't owning it, and it's not piracy if you can't buy it from the original creators anymore.

Free release can have loopholes where they still make money through ads
