Hello
I have a problem with to unzip the BBDATA.DAT files inside the Blazblue iso
When analyzing it with HxD it marks me that it is a file encrypted with PGD

PGD.png

I decrypted it with pgdecrypt, but the decrypted file continues to indicate that it is encrypted as in the image that I show you.

If I replace the decrypted file in the iso, the game runs normally. The iso also has other files that are CPK but are not encrypted. Someone will have an idea how to decrypt them.
Thank you. Regards.

There is no encryption, just compression. Put in Google search first two bytes (78DA).

yes, 78 DA = zlbi compression to be exact. the vita, ps3, and probably ps4 use it all the time.

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

btw, you can decompress it with simplyzip.

Hello YotiReal and godreborn.

Thanks for the help I was able to unzip it but looking more deeply at the bin file it has several files packed in zlib
BBDATA3.png BBDATA4.png

with a tool I can separate each one of them, decompressed them and gave me the PAC files that the PC version also has

imagen_2021-01-25_185807.png

but they are different in structure and the tool I have to package them does not leave it the same as the PSP version

The archive pac created by the tool I compressed it again and packed it in the binary but the PSP does not read it.
So I will have to give up trying to translate it.

Anyway thank you very much for your help.
