I'm going to say no, only because some games (I guess an example would be Persona, Ys and Final Fantasy) in a series are better than the other games in that series.

People will just have to find out if they need to play another game to get the story.

Well i want to veto that since this format was my idea. It's highly unlikely that those inferior games will rack up enough points to climb the table, and everyone is allowed a personal opinion which is what avoids bias.

Plus some series have different foibles that make them attractive.

Edit - Whoops misunderstood...yeah, you vote individual games so that would mean multiple slots of your 7 used up if you were recommending multiple games. No all encompassing series votes.

Also i know you're doing it but ALWAYS post when you update the count so it's time stamped.

You can't make people list 7 if they don't have them. A list with fewer games still scores the same way and whilst being slightly biased it avoids a different kind of bias.
