its up to you if you want to share it, anyways thanks for your effort
Okay, then I'll share this module. This module is used for NES NSO 5.4. I have not tested version 6.4 and am unsure if it can be used. If you need it, you can try modifying the TID code of the MOD itself and confirm if it can be used in the latest version. Additionally, I noticed that someone had already shared a NES full screen module earlier, and I'm not sure if it's a duplicate of mine. If it's the same, please choose one yourself.

Choose 4:3 display or CRT filter and cancel 'Show controls in game', I have no issues here.

As I said above, I used the 5.4 version of the modification, and I am not sure if it will work for the 6.4 version.

ohh its gonna be great if you can make it to work, thank you very much in advance
Yeah, really great to offer mods having nothing to do with the thread.
Not everyone has the knowledge to create an own thread here.
Stretching 4:3 to fullscreen is really the most pathetic thing you can do with the nice old NSO games.
But hey, you can downgrade the games as much as you want. :rofl2:

not everyone prefers or likes the full screen mod but i do and i would greatly appreciate it if you could debug 6.4 for me thanks so much
The module for version 6.4 is already ready, and many self righteous satires can be stopped. In the future, I will also stop making all full screen modules. After all, these things are not something that the noble eyes of those "professional players" can appreciate.

yeah man don't listen to them they are just defending what they think looks better but that doesn't mean that you should stop helping those that actually prefer it..

I made custom overlays for GB/GBA Online.

If you want to change the overlay for something else, just replace this file:

bootapp/resources/sprites/colorhalftone.png

Before changing mods, delete the folder with the previous one.

Dont ask about widescreen mod. Those mods are made with the propoer aspect ratio in mind.

Changelog 13.02.2023:

- Added NoProfilePic mod w/ overlay
- Added NoProfilePic mod w/o overlay (black bars)
- Added fullscreen mod in GBA version with black bars
Do you have something like this but for Snes and Nes? I just want to put an overlay to them

Nevermind, it´s working now, I didn´t check the updates option in nxdumptool , however, now, what values do i need to change to make it go and use the colorhalftone.png file I placed under sprites folder

I wonder if that was the point of game streaming
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
    But it's a dead end
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@Psionic Roshambo, people who cant download it can still play the game
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
If your internet speeds are fast enough. Streaming 4k takes alot. I used to only have 20mb sec, and 4k struggled. Now I have 300mb sec and 4k plays fine.

@BigOnYa, i only have like 1 or 2 mb sec

Did you feed the hamster in your internet router? It prob died and is running slow now.

@BigOnYa, why did you start saying my pc has a hamster in the first place?

I think Game streaming should work like this.... Local Hardware able the run the game fine, game engine and common assets stored locally, all FMV and music and textures could be streaming

They went all in on streaming, should have been more of a hybrid approach

Or free government supplied high speed internet be nice also. Like Obama care. Xdqwerty that's cool, its time consuming but rewarding once done or playable, to see what you've made from scratch. Animations take forever, but worth it.

    @BigOnYa,
and the visual aspect of the game is quite crude (the sprite that looks best is that of the protagonist just because he is a stickman with sunglasses)

  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
There is a bullets behaviour you assign to your character, that makes the code easier, under "behaviours"
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
i meant that when the character is pointing to the right, the bullets spawn where they should, but when he is on the right, they move to the right but the spawn point is incorrect
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Itch.io has lots of free assets also. Under the bullets behavior tab, there is a "rotate bullets" option, can try that. Or in the code can try
    - fire bullet Player.X(PlayerDirection)

im taking a break for today anyway

That's cool tho, I'm proud of you going back to it, not giving up. It is difficult at first to learn, but fun once you get the hang of it. I think I've watched every tutorial video there is, but I still struggle sometimes to get stuff to work right. But gotta keep trying dif things, and eventually you will get it right.
