the Miiverse community hosted by Nintendo may or may not be terrible depending on what you think. but I do think the Miiverse service/technical parts should be replicated for preservation. games are going to lose features as a result of this, so having a Miiverse replacement would be good to have by the time Nintendo takes it offline.

As people have previously said, Miiverse was nothing special. No need to create an old version of it. It was just a site filled with a bunch of kids shitposting (just like every other site )

Miiverse is a nice touch when it's implemented directly into some games, like bottle messages in Wind Waker, Splatoon drawings on plaza or custom dictionaries in Pictoparty. It's sad to loose all of these functions. The social network itself is not so good though, but it have it's own gems like an awesome works in Art Academy's threads.

I don't like the miiverse stuff cluttering up my wii u home screen, if that gets tidied up when it's gone, good.

I don't want to see young children advertizing their mario maker level, or some weird drawings from xyz popular shovelware, cars 3? lol
