I have this Korean wii which is is updated to 4.3U and can't get any of the methods to work in this wii.

I have a spare korean wii which I previously recovered from a 003 brick. It has 4.2U menu.

Same wasabi dx chip / Same disks / Same drive
- On the 4.2U one I can apply Mario Kart trick to boot SSBB from recovery
- On the 4.3U one SSBB doesn't boot, disc just spins endlessly

Any clues? Wasabi DX is configured as Region Free off / Autoboot off / Block disc updates on (Autoboot option doesn't change anything since the discs are already patched to autoboot)

edit1: As a side note, this wii displays the strap screen in japanese. Possibly modder forgot to change the language setting and left it as either korean or japanese. I'll test on my working wii if ssbb can be booted with language set to japanese.

edit2: Tried Disc swap with Starfox - That doesn't work too, Starfox boots but disc swap with SSBB PAL with disc id 0SBE is not possible. Menu version disappears, disc spins endlessly.
