Hacking how to update a switch game offline on a banned console?

okay so i downloaded the nsp and installed it via tinfoil, now when i try to start my game it says download available, but it still requires it to be downloaded via the internet which i am restricted from. my game remains at it's original version and only difference is that now i don't need a cartridge to start it and that the 'download available' did not show up for me before i installed the thing with tinfoil. what do i do?

Most likely the update you downloaded from the internet wasn't the most up to date one. Grab the most up to date update file and install it using tinfoil.

took me awhile to find it but lol okay i can try

Install a nsp of it or use the match version feature, you need another switch for match version tho, but is faster
