Hwfly Lite on V1 motherboard?

Hello,
It appears the seller I bought my HWFLY kit from either sent me the incorrect one or scammed me. What I received was the Hwfly Lite RP2040. I can't find anything specific on this, but all tutorials and discussions I see on the Hwfly Lite are centered around the Lite console too, whereas my model is a V1 Mariko.

Should I go ahead and try to install it either way or do I look for the proper one to buy?

You can but you need to run wires from the chip to soldering points on the motherboard.

Thank you for the quick response. Is there any reference guide, tutorial or even images you could point me towards as to how that would look like? Or is it intuitive enough when you have the Switch opened up?
