I just got done doing a case mod to make my Wii black, and I wanted my DVD light to stay on all the time to go with the new look. Here's the video I used: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L5ftb7XpNJM. I got everything soldered down to the pad, but when I was bending the wire to stick it in the slot of the Wii like the video says, it popped off. I didn't think much of it at first, but when I looked more closely, I noticed the whole pad was on the wire and that there's no pad on the board anymore; just green.

I'm a very inexperienced solderer, so I really had no clue what to do. I tried resoldering it back on, and I even tried just taping it down with electrical tape (obviously that didn't work). What should I do to fix this?

If you are lucky, the board trace will connect to the pad on the top layer of the board.
Look for where the board trace connected to the pad, then follow the trace to the next solder point and solder to there.
