First of all, I mean those .jar files that run on old Nokias. I think that would be techniccly possible, however a new homebrew app would have to be developed.
RetroArch Wii has the core SquirrelJME, which is a good Java Micro Edition (J2ME) emulator and it can run .jar files on Wii, because it's a port of the SquirrelJME Java ME 8 Virtual Machine emulator to LibRetro.
Im guessing it does not have internet..?Quote from another thread:

On Wii, sadly it doesnt have internet connection support (ex. Opera Mini cant be run here because it needs internet connection, which RetroArch Wii and its cores dont support it).No no, i meant does the Retroarch java core have internet connectivity (for eg. opera)
Tried it, it just says something like "This SquirrelJME core stuff will be released in 2023."On Wii, sadly it doesnt have internet connection support (ex. Opera Mini cant be run here because it needs internet connection, which RetroArch Wii and its cores dont support it).
Sure they could.
Someone would just need to write or port a JVM (Java Virtual Machine) to the Wii and while they're at it, add support for Java ME.
Easiest method would be to just port PSPKVM to the Wii and pray it has enough processing power.

The emu doesnt need internet connection for run...
Because of nostalgia and memories with those Java games, i guess. Why do you want to play a Java game that was designed for a smaller screen in mind? And most of the games released on that platform are terrible because of so many limitations.
You might as well stick to playing Flash games.
Same reason people want to play GB/GBC/GBA games on the big screen. Why do you want to play a Java game that was designed for a smaller screen in mind? And most of the games released on that platform are terrible because of so many limitations.
