RFK Jr. is a known endorser of conspiracy theories and unfounded claims. He's also an anti-vaxxer and endorses several other misleading theories.
Don't take anything he says seriously.
He's like the younger sibling desperately trying to attract attention from the older siblings by pulling stupid shit.

To be fair, it was just a hypothetical diagnosis.
---
A New York doctor, after reviewing a scan of his brain, told him that his health issues could be “caused by a worm that got into my brain and ate a portion of it and then died,” Kennedy said in the 2012 deposition, which concerned a divorce from his second wife, Mary Richardson Kennedy.
---
Also note the context in which this came up ... during a deposition for a divorce. You'll say anything in that context if your lawyer advises you it'll minimize the damage.

CNN doesn't really bother with pointing out that this is not a confirmed medical fact, but just a possible explanation he was told. No, they just go on with their interview with another doctor, who never examined RFK Jr., to have him describe it as if it is a confirmed fact.

He's still probably cuckoo for cocoa puffs, and the real story there is that whatever caused it he did go through a period of cognitive impairment. That is not disputed, and that is not a small thing for someone running for POTUS. The "worm" angle is more salacious and nasty though, so they run with that. Fuckin' journalists are scum.

It had to be RFK Jr. 🤣

I can't believe I need to add this to my list, but people with actual worms in their brain shouldn't be in politcs
The only reason anyone even knows who he is is because of his uncle, John F. Kennedy. May he rest in peace.

Gonna be honest, nepotism and cronyism is kind of annoying due to incompetent people get their way because of who they know.

That reminds me, an asshole from the Ramsey Show, think it was Ken Coleman who said "It's not about the qualifications you have, it's about who you know." so people study just to waste their time and money? 😑

Imagine someone becoming a bus driver based on that, that'd put people's lives at risk and the damage, too. I'm very much used to driving cars and moderately small/medium vans, but a bus? I'd never! Too damn big for me.

The absolute state of right-wing candidates these days. It's like they're trying to one-up each other on who can drag us down in to Idiocracy first.

Kristi Noem: "I shoot puppies in the face."
Donald Trump: "I shit my pants during my criminal trials."
RFK Jr: "I got endorsed by Kevin Spacey the day before revealing I literally have brain worms."

Right-wing? He was a lifetime Democrat until last year when he figured out he wasn't welcome as a challenger to Biden. His running mate is as looney leftie as he is. He had Dennis Kucinich working as his campaign manager ffs.

Its ok to acknowledge one of your own is a crackpot. I'm a conservative-leaning libertarian type, and I have no problem admitting that while I don't have much choice when it comes to voting but to choose the lesser of two fucked-up options, the truth is most politicians on the "Republican" side are idiots, sociopaths, or assholes. Or a combination of those. The "leaders" on the left are no different when it comes to personalities. Just admit it. This is a separate issue from ideologies. It has more to do with political power being a magnet for crazy megalomaniacal monsters.

Until he got brain worms, which is apparently what causes vaccine and 5G conspiracy theories to start taking root. The same shit you always hear Alex Jones, Joe Rogan and AM talk radio hosts ranting about.

I guess you could make the case for Jill Stein being as nutty as the three I listed, but she received less than 1% support in the primary and it was later revealed a lot of her funding came from right-wing sources. Biden is just a centrist trying to manage a balancing act to attract reasonable people from both sides of the aisle, but at the very least he isn't an incontinent malignant narcissist and didn't shoot his dog after it bit someone from secret service. By federal government standards, Bernie Sanders is an untouchable moral paragon.

Realistically, the guy has no chance, the choice is Biden or Trump... Not great, but that's it.

And this worm story definitely did not help him. 🤣 It's not as bad as Noem killing her female dog, although it's pretty bad.

    @SylverReZ, cuz of lag?
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@Xdqwerty, No. Whenever you use the internet on Windows, Microsoft collects personal data and installs bloatware that isn't necessarily needed, such as Edge.

I recall @impeeza mentioned some trick about not having bloatware when installing windows where you set up your country to "world" or smh like that

  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
Yes, you can debloat the operating system, but in some cases for me it just reinstalls them.

@Xdqwerty yes, when you are installing Windows on the first steps you are asked for your current location, you MUST to select «international» so no bloatware is installed, because the bloatware is location based. if this night I have some time I will setup a VM and take screenshots.
