First off Merry XMas to all and I hope everyone got their desired present from Santa (*cough Wii cough)
Anyway, so you have a Wii all hooked up played Tennis to death and created a couple of Mii's but your message board is a little empty?
Well, I found this link on GoNintendo that lets you plot your location on a Google Map along with your Wii's Name and # and allows you to request them as your friend. The site is called MapWii and its in it's early stages but it looks promising. I registered my Wii on there, but I think it takes time to load as it still hasn't been plotted on the map.
Things I'm not liking: it is quite slow loading the map, seeing as there are like a hundred tiny dots that have to be pinpointed all over the world.
And, if you click on (Select U.S. State) it doesn't show you all the Wii's in your state, you have to go by N.America and zooming in on your individual state to see everyone. It also doesn't show your EXACT address, it offsets the location somewhat for privacy reason which is nice
Let me know what you guys think.
oh yeah, my Wii # while i'm still on the screen
