All of them don't do anything but play games. All recent carts have near-100% game compatibility, DLDI auto-patching, cheats, skinning, SDHC compatibility, soft reset from game, download play support, etc.

The difference between the lower-cost carts such as the Acekart 2, Edge, or DSTT and the higher-cost carts such as the CycloDS and Acekart RPG is that the lower-cost carts don't have the bells and whistles of the more expensive carts. Bells and whistles includes things like in-game menu (for changing cheats and other settings during gameplay), real-time save (which makes a dump of the memory at any point during the game that can be loaded to restart the game from the exact same point), slowing down the game, etc. If you don't have a use for any of those things, go for one of the lower-cost carts.

The only really big special feature would be the real time saving. THat has me very interested.

Then you should get either a Scds1 or a CycloDS Evolution.

Soon I'll have both

Oh, so theres no way to have multiple saved spots? Its basically a hibernation feature....
That's not available yet, but I think they will implement it sooner or later.

With that said, what one should I be leaning towards? Ive heard a lot of good things about the CycloDS.

Well I have a CycloDS and am loving it. It has all the features you want, a great team behind it, really good support and pretty frequent updates.

SDDS1 has multiple save slots for normal saving, as well as a 'clean save' feature (save area on a rom is kept clean and not patched, the save is transferred from saver memory to mem card at re-boot)... all other save modes save direct to mem card.

So SCDS1 has 3 save options

1) direct normal save with multiple save slots
2) clean save
3) Real Time Save

and all the saving features of the DSTT flashcart via use of it's GUI's

So I guess we have a winner. Where did you buy yours?

:EDIT:

I guess we have more points for the Supercard. What one has the bigger likelihood of getting the save state feature?
Supercard Team implemented RTS first, CycloDS got that function maybe 1-2 weeks later.
Since Supercard Team usually implements new functions in each OS update I think they'll do that first.

I was reading the GBATemp review on the Supercard, and it said it had a lot of saving errors where it would wipe your memory. Are these issues resolved?
That review is on a Scds1 v1 and I can't believe that they haven't re-evaluated it yet, it's much better than the review says.

I'm not sure, but I believe you can save as many different "dumps" at different places in the game as you want. Loading one back in will resume from the point that it was saved.

It sounds to me like you probably want a CycloDS.

That was more than a year ago.... Urza or any other mods refuse to review it. It's outdated, and shouldn't be trusted. (Just for this one.) And if you're still not convinced, I have full 8 gigs onto my cart, and nothing yet. It's been about 5 days as well.

I should buy both, and pass off the one I like least to a friend. The Supercard sounds like its a winner, though.

:EDIT:

Also, whats with these GBA Expansion packs? Do they do anything useful? I already have a G6 for my GBA games, so I dont know if I need one.

...why?

Just curious...
I want to use Sdhc-microsd's and the only difference between my v2 Scds1 and a v3 is Sdhc-support.
Also I'm returning a broken DSmotion for cash in the same online-store and the easiest way to get my money back is for them to give me something at a discount.

They let you play GBA games stored on a slot1 cart. They also work as extra memory required to run the Opera browser. The EZ 3in1 also has a rumble (but I've read that the rumble isn't all that great on it).
