NEED HELP WITH PHOTO CHANNEL 1.1 INSTALL ON MODDED WII

So I've been trying to get the updated photo channel 1.1 wad on my modded wii and for some reason every time I try to install it, it doesn't show up on the main menu shows up in USB loader and then it just goes black and I have to reset my wii, I tried taking the photochannel1.1_vwii and it did install and show up on the menu, but it gave me an error message when I tried to start it, I just want the damn photo channel to work. Can someone please help?

I had this same problem and what I did was download it from Wii Shop Channel and it installed perfectly.

Here’s the problem, I don’t have it previously installed and can’t access the shop channel, UPDATE: it now 100% works in usb loader but still won’t show on main menu

Bro I was a little confused by the 1st response since the Wii shop channel is closed, I just checked and alas, I can’t re-download the photo channel I bought this Wii used and looks like the original owners never updated it

Get NUS Downloader and get the latest release of Photo Channel.

The store channel is still open to download channels that you have downloaded during the time it was in service, in the "downloads. done" tab it should appear there for download.

Another option is to download it via the riiconnect24 patcher.

EDIT:

If you don't have shop channel installed, you can download it from NUS in WAD format and install it, then download photo channel 1.1

I already tried dob Wii with downloading from nus and that did not work

Update, I just tried the app on windows and it still only shows in USB loader GX, not the Wii main menu

That's weird. I installed it myself yesterday following that process and it worked perfectly. Maybe you are doing something wrong. Well, good luck.

tldr: go on your favorite warez site and download and install at least one of:
- Photo Channel Dummy (this is what you could get from the wii shop)
- Photo Channel 1.0 v65280 (this is what is preinstalled on Photo Channel 1.1 only Wiis)
