If the DS Lite ain't broke, there's no need for a redesign. Plus, with that redesign, it would be hard to play games where you have to tilt the DS on its side. Games like Hotel Dusk and Brain Age would be hard. No more "book" feel.

Yep, saw this (probably here) about 6 months ago. Was made by a guy from GameTrailers called gaffyh.

I whant a new ds model like the lite but more grapick adn bigger screen and no gba slot, more ram, and a harddisk were u can have musik and movies, the harddisk shouild have maybe about 4GB and have music player and a movie player for the media. Or somthing like that... well a better ds whive more power

This isn't 'new' it's a fan-made video from last year. It was created by a member of GameTrailers, gaffyh, based on a design concept by a fella called Nick Lowe.

One mistake, Nintendo can't have Piano Black as a color.
Sony (for the time being) is the only one who can have this color in their products.
Which is why Nintendo used Black Onyx on the DS Lite.

Otherwise, I feel this is a pretty good fake. However I do not like the design one bit.

the outer shell is also obviously too thin for the buttons. Even if they somehow could find a way... i can imagine the thing just cracking and breaking apart in my hands during an intense session of castlevania
