with swapdrc?
that's so clever.
ty i wouldve never thought of that.
EDIT: not working for me. i tested swapdrc on home menu, but it doesn't work in the ntrview homebrew. i don't have another functioning homebrew to test.
does swapdrc work on any other homebrew? can someone test this for me?
So I downloaded this to give it a try, but it’s really not working well for me. I’m using BootNTR CFW version 3.6 on New 3DSXL, and using the latest Wii U NTR release from the GitHub. I am using a LAN adapter on my Wii U to try and improve speeds, and using WiFi for the 3DS (which we have gigabit internet so I’m assuming it should be a good connection). Running the program on the Wii U, I’m getting maybe 1-4 frames a second using the default settings, and the input from the gamepad is not working at all.
Am I missing something? I wasn’t expecting 60fps but I thought it would be usable at least.
Hi, I've run into a problem. Provided I did everything correctly, my n3DS XL still can't connect to Wii U.
Here's what I've done:
1) on n3DSXL side I have Luma3DS v11.0 installed and BootNTR Selector 3DS v2.13.7 (right now I can switch between version 3.2, 3.3 and 3.6), and Luma3DS 3GX Loader v11.0 as well (since v2.13.7 is broken on official version).
2) on Wii U side I have ntrview v0.5 (latest one for Tiramisu).
Both Wii U and n3DSXL are connected to the Internet. On n3DSXL I've launched BootNTR Selector 3DS (and I think I tried all versions just to be on a safe side) and through Rosalina menu I've started Input Redirection, got the IP address and I entered that IP address on Wii U's ntrview. Am I missing something else? Wii U keeps trying to connect to 3DS but never really manages to do so.
Thanks in advance!
UPDATE: It finally works! But... input lag is pretty bad. Any way to improve it?
UPDATE #2: Well, I noticed that ntrview's github page had some tips on how to improve performance and they kinda worked. I still see input lag from time to time, but it could just be my connection (both Wii U and 3DS are few rooms away from access point).
In case anyone wonders how I managed to get it working: other than what I've previously mentioned, on BootNTR Selector 3DS I picked v3.6 (the other two didn't work for ntrview), set up IP addresses correctly and that was it.
I have ntrview version 0.5 and want to upgrade to 0.6, but the creator switched it to a .wuhb app rather than keeping it an .rpx app. Is there a way to convert .wuhb to .rpx or is that not possible?
(I know Aroma exists. I want to stick with Tiramisu, at least for now)

Good question, I'm not sure myself, but it does look like 0.6 doesn't really improve performance in any way, just adds some aesthetic changes to the interface and of course makes it an app for Aroma instead. So if we can't get a .rpx version, I don't think you're really missing out on anything significant.
I did fix a bug with the input handling in 0.6 which I forgot about, so if you have the menu randomly opening that's fixed. once I get my brain together and have some motivation I plan to tweak the app and ship both rpx and wuhb versions, though I might have to tag it 0.7 to make the appstore maintainers life a little easier..
This is NOT my homebrew, I came across this on the WiiUHacks subreddit, but for whatever reason, it never appeared to get posted here, and I'm certain some people here would be interested in this. All credit to @QuarkTheAwesome Project here: https://github.com/yawut/ntrview-wiiu
Basically it just allows you to stream your own hacked 3DS (believe it needs to be a New model, but don't quote me on that) on your hacked Wii U via NTRcfw on 3DS. Sound will never be transmittable through the Wii U, so you'll still have to get your sound through the 3DS. Quality of the stream is what you'd expect if you've ever streamed your 3DS to your PC with Snickerstream, so don't expect it to perform flawlessly.
