Hacking Old 3DS System update - Is it safe?

I happen to have a Modded O2DS With Luma and FBI. I'm worried about updating from Sys 11.9.0-42U to whatever is higher than it. I wanna know if my Luma will survive etc. Sorry if this is stupid lol

You can update without problems, If you feel something is wrong after it, restore a 11.9 CTR NAND Backup

If you're already on 11.9, then it is safe to update to 11.10.
