@FAST6191 @M4x1mumReZ thank you both for answering my question!
I guess then there is now nothing standing in my way of flashing my DS Lite anymore!

I hope it comes tomorrow or the day after. Really excited! <3
I'm also looking forward for my audiophile PS1 to arrive, so I know you can't wait. But then again, I hate it when a Royal Mail strike comes along to ruin everything.

i hope those striking people get what they want and can continue their work... because my DS Lite comes from the UK, too

I'm always a huge fan of installing FlashMe to get rid of the Health & Safety warning screen, as well as allowing me to boot my slot-2 Supercard in DS mode without needing the slot-1 Superkey each time. I flashed a few friends' DS systems back in high school.

I sure have!
It was a quick and easy mod.
I couldnt be more satisfied!

That's awesome, glad to hear. Installing FlashMe is so easy that it's weird to see the first few pages of this thread full of people adamantly telling you it's not worth the risk. What risk? Connect two contacts for a few seconds while it writes the emergency recovery code, continue holding another ~30 seconds until 100% flashed, easy peasy. People are acting like you have to solder in a modchip or something.

Good thing the DS / DS Lite are region-free, so it doesn't matter if it came from the UK or where you currently live; all cartridges should work!

The reason people advise against it is there is a GND point on the potentiometer right next to the 2 pads you need to bridge. If you slip or accidentally bridge the pad and GND the DS will turn off and you have a brick if this happens before it reaches a certain percentage. The tool i described above will avoid all these issues and make it pretty safe.
