Curious if I found a solution or at least a viable workaround. So when I replace SWAVS in SWAR files and hit "save SDAT" and then "save ROM" the original SWAV will still play, and when I would try to repack the SWARs myself it would break the whole SDAT file. But I saw the offset locations for the files I want to extract and import in Tinke and I was wondering if I could manually modify it in HxD. Images below, for reference in Tinke and HxD:
I'm trying to swap some of the SWAV files around - for example, extract the SWAVs in SWAR_473 to SWAR_490. The offset for SWAR_473 is 0x4BD050. So based on that example, if I were to go to 0x4BD050 in HxD, copy the data and do CTRL-B to paste into the offset for SWAR_490, would that data for the sound effectively be copied over for SWAR_473 and replace the original sound files that were there?
