Checked under the tape. There was some that got through but wasn't touching anything. It's all been cleaned out and the problem remains.A long pulsing blue light is mostly APU related.
Till now I encountered:
A) liquid metall found its way through the sealing on the APU and is shorting one or more little components surounding the die.
B) broken solder joint/connections between APU and mainboard

Checked, there was some LM under that tape. Cleaned, still the same problem but am now getting no response from the APU instead of the RAM issue as I got before.A long pulsing blue light is mostly APU related.
