Hardware Question re: Game unable to detect USB mic

Hi, I'm not sure this is the right forum to post...

I recently bought the game "Karaoke Joysound wii DX",
it's a karaoke game...

The game itself comes with a USB microphone to be used with the game.


However, when the microphone is plugged in to the wii, the game itself cannot detect it.
I tried plugging it to the computer - the microphone is functional.


- The wii I have has system menu 3.2J. mod with cIOS249 rev14. Has HBC

- I cannot boot the game through disc channel (promotes update), therefore I booted it via neogamma
The game does not detect the microphone

- After ripping the game to a HD and boot via USB loader, the game can't detect the microphone either.

Besides not able to detect the microphone, the game itself runs fine

I'd like to ask if anyone knows,
- does any of the cIOS or loader patches how the console treats the USB ports in anyway?
- would booting the game normally through the disc channel solve the issue? (considering updating...)
- Would it be caused by missing any IOS?

I believe it is cIOS 38 for the microphone.

EDIT - Try loading the game using 222 instead of 249.

you also might need some missing ios's

Hermes cIOS 224 with 57 base worked for me
