There's this crazy indie film about time traveling that is confusing as hell. I think it's called Primer, I'm pretty sure you'll be thrown off by this movie as they don't dumb down the physics/science jargon.

The Terminator series, if you haven't seen it seriously watch it, really just 1 and 2.
Back to the Future series
Star Trek: First Contact

No love for Dune people?

I do not tend to watch that much sci fi, time travel especially, and when I do it tends to be anime.

Still Army of Darkness (it is horror/comedy really but who cares) has time travel aspects.

For other films there was a video thread started by Iza I think not so long ago.

Well if when you say time travelling you mean travelling through parallel worlds and if when you say film you mean TV series... the single bestest sci-fi show ever created has to be Sliders.

The last couple of seasons are a bit weak but the first couple are definately a must see. BEST SHOW EVER!

Ok, I'm going a little left-field with this one...
Things to Come
It's an adaptation of an H.G. Wells novel, about the progress of mankind through a hundred year period.
It came out in 1936, so it is like way, way old and stuff, but it's in the public domain, so it's free and legal and findable on the net.
I watched it cuz it was a free download, and my week's NetFlix was sucked up by my kids' Garfield type movies.
I've seen it three times total now. It's really good. It's also on topic, since you do kind of travel through time.. just not back and forth through it.
If you run out of things to watch, and feel like stretching a bit, it's definitely got a "feel" to it.

Holy crap, someone else besides me has heard of eXistenZ! That's probably my favorite movie now since The Matrix became mainstream.

And the time travel Star Trek movie is Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home.

Hey, if you like Cronenberg, and you like videogames... eXistenZ rulez!
(That said, I was a little surprised to see it there too, lol.)
((gotta get me one of those fleshy controllers!))

There are 2 even numbered Star Trek movies that involve time travel. The Voyage Home a.k.a. the humpback whale one and First Contact (the beginning for the Federation).

Also, I forgot Dark City.

I too am a time travel movie junkie. Seeing as you're aware of the mainstream ones, you could always check out "Time After Time" and "Somewhere In Time." They are both as old as I am, and I didn't say they were very good, but they are time travel movies. Also, I don't believe "A Kid In King Arthurs Court" was mentioned yet. Just kidding. There was also that time travel movie about the castle. I don't remember the name of it, but I do remember people telling me the book was much better.

As for the Terminator movies, watch all three. The first two are better than the third, but you need the third one to wrap up the story, and unlike the Matrix movies, they did not screw up the story in the third installment.

For the record, "Groundhog Day" is not only my favorite time travel movie, it's my favorite movie, period.

Oh, and speaking of Groundhog Day, don't forget the similar-style movie "12:01." It's kinda like Office Space meets Groundhog Day.

Hope this helps!
