thanks for the quick reply

sorry but after reading a bit more i have a few more questions

i just googled libfat and libslim, but how would i switch between them?
You don't. The switch would be done on our side, and would be included in a later release, if it goes well.
also i just downloaded and installed the cia from the latest release but nothing came up on the menu, do i need the first one too?
What do you mean "first one"? "3DSBank.cia" is the only one you need.
Try rebooting the console to make it appear in the 3DS HOME Menu.
and lastly if i already have games installed on my original nintendo 3ds folder and dont need to move them, i should be fine to just make more and put different ones on the new ones without any problems right?

thanks
Yes.

Hi, just moved and increased the library thanks and on this tool.
In its semplicity it's pretty powerfull and well working , but the restrictions from the nand in the homescreens managing are really annoing. Two in particular:
1 folders can't be used in sigle home-copy cause they apper always shared between homescreens
2 and the same with dsiware shortcuts that cannot be organized cause they appears in all homescreens and in the same positions

Have someone any suggestion or solution to avoid these problems?

In particoular to manage the dsiware.
For what I read around it seams impossible to install or forward them -aviable- from the nand to sd,
but could be at least a way to hide the "shortcuts" from an homescreens or other?

For point 2 you could use YANBF, it makes 3DS app forwarders so they're on your SD

I'm already using it to forward DS roms, but it seams not working with DsiWare.nds. Red cross in gui when trying. For them could it work with different steps than normal roms?

Ah, you need to manually provide a banner image – since DSiWare have no boxart
Probably missed in the thread... Thank you very much for the tip. Now to learn also how to make banners, but good to know it could work! Since we are talking about banners... I just understood I can edit banners' text on .nds with crystaltile2 to have them changed after cia conversion (even if this always brakes the dsiware.nds 🤷🏽). But... can't I modify banners' text more easily and perhaps directly on the cia? For instance on the 3DSbank banner too

NDS Banner Editor is the best program (currently) for editing DS banners, though it requires the raw banner not the whole ROM. I think MessAnimDSIco can edit banners without needing to repack the ROM.

Ok, what about installing a game that I own on my first home menu, and then install it again on my second home menu?
Should also work fine.
How would I install FBI, Checkpoint, Anemone, Homebrew Launcher, and Universal Updater on a separate home menu?
You need to first launch a title, then open Rosalina menu to switch the current title to hb, exit Rosalina menu, then re-launch the title.

Only Xbox I don't have is the OG, and One X model specifically, I regret giving my chipped OG model to one of my kids years ago, after later hearing he sold it to pawn shop, damn kids!

I just recently picked up a n64 from a garage sell, and looking to mod it and add a HDMI port to it. https://www.ebay.com/itm/3548173115...044&customid=4f3038da73b61afddf7e5e90f4153856

I'd like to find a power strip and HDMI selector built in 1 unit, so I can select which game system I want, and will switch to that hdmi, and power on that plug/power supply only, so don't have all game systems powered all the time, but can't find anything like. May just have to make something myself.

Maybe start a kick starter page and sell them, yea right. Big N would prob C&D me, not anything Big N related, but just because that's what they do nowdays. Then come out with they own in a year or so.

@Xdqwerty, Nice. Which operating system are you installing?
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@SylverReZ, windows 10 and some linux distro like linux mint

    dualbooth
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@Xdqwerty, Yeah, I'd recommend having another OS just in-case you want to play games.

At least Linux doesn't contain spyware than what Windows has.
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
    @SylverReZ, cuz of lag?
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@Xdqwerty, No. Whenever you use the internet on Windows, Microsoft collects personal data and installs bloatware that isn't necessarily needed, such as Edge.

    @SylverReZ,
I recall @impeeza mentioned some trick about not having bloatware when installing windows where you set up your country to "world" or smh like that

  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
Yes, you can debloat the operating system, but in some cases for me it just reinstalls them.

I also recall my brother downloded a "non bloated" version of windows 11 on his pc

  • impeeza @ impeeza:
@Xdqwerty yes, when you are installing Windows on the first steps you are asked for your current location, you MUST to select «international» so no bloatware is installed, because the bloatware is location based. if this night I have some time I will setup a VM and take screenshots.
