Same here. Data.rsdk is in 3ds/SonicMania, but the game crashes everytime after about a minute of loading. Console is a New 3DS.I copied the file to the SonicMania-folder, but it crashes, and i dont know why.

I feel like this should have been done first. Like, instead of using software rendering. Hardware rendering is always better and faster.A hardware render backend similar to Sonic CD's is also planned

i meant could i play it on my 2ds if i loaded citra onto it.No with O3DS models.
How?i meant could i play it on my 2ds if i loaded citra onto it.
Citra is a 3DS emulator. It obviously will not run on a 2DS. You can't run this port of Sonic Mania on an O2DS. You need a more powerful system, like a N3DS or N2DSXL.i meant could i play it on my 2ds if i loaded citra onto it.
Does new 2ds XL work?old consoles says it future planned but nothing else about it.
It isn't part of the original O3DS range in terms of specs, so yes. It will work on a New 2DS and New 2DS XL, as well as the expected New 3DS and New 3DS XL.Does new 2ds XL work?
How do you use folder mode?Thank you dev! (I was busy yesterday, did a recompile to cia and loading times aren't too bad with folder mode) Yeah I got the Saturn mod working! Fantastic job getting this to run on a 3ds
How do you use folder mode?
Alternatively, you can have the game load assets directly from a folder on your SD Card instead of from the Data.rsdk file; this is called Data Folder mode. Refer to this tutorial for learning how to extract the game's assets from your Data.rsdk file:
Once extracted, copy the Data folder to /3ds/SonicMania on your 3DS's SD Card. Load times are slightly better when running in Data Folder mode, so this option is recommended
