So my test, latest build .cia N3DS.
filters works great!
I can now play again with gambatte, integer scale off, 4/3 with filter LQ2X. It's great because the black lines are more agressive and I like it!
It's awesome because this filter does NOT slow down in gpsp.cia, so it's alright. Other filters ask for too much ressources as expected, so I'll stay with this one.
Still EEPROM save issue with gpsp.

Picodrive.cia seems to get a less accurate sound, but it does not suffer of tearing issues.
Mslug5 still suffer of no sound but huge ass noise of full fba core.

My questions:
- It's possible to put the option of the enabled filters in "Core settings"?
- How can I add the DSP sound? I have to do something special? I would love to test it in Picodrive.
- Someone have spoken of "samples" for FBA full core. I've understood that it's pictures displayed instead of the lines of each game. How can I enable it?

Good job guys!

Hm. Mine almost always crashes on the heath/safety screen. Could be my ROM (I'd dumped it from an actual cartridge, then patched it) so I'll try a different one/redump it (If I can find the cart!). Thanks for testing!
Sweet as man Goodluck I hope you manage to get it working at some point

Why is MAME saying not enough frames??? I haven't had this problem before

Getting the same issue (N3DS, latest Ironhax payload, deleted all previous retroarch files). Upon boot, I'm getting:

"Does not have enough samples for monitor refresh rate estimation. Requires to run for at least 4096 frames."

Then remains unresponsive.

Does this mean we would need Bios files

So can someone explain me how DSP is implemented?
We previously only had access to the CSND service for sound, which wasn't designed for games. As of *hax 2.5 we now have access to the DSP service which is the service intended for gaming use.

This should be selectable in the settings as a sound driver, though it probably isn't as mature as the CSND driver right now.

Indeed under steeings, audio, an option is for DSP driver. It ask a folder, but I don't know what I have to select after it.
Maybe it is something I have to add on the micro SD card? (I'm on .cia files)
