Emulation Homebrew Emulator Save Screen has no text while playing Dante's Inferno on Switch Retroarch PPSSPP

While playing Dante's Inferno on my homebrewed Switch via Retroarch's PPSSPP core, and got the opportunity to save, for some reason, there is no text on the save screen. Is there something I am missing?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

The save dialog is part of the PSP firmware, so needs assets which are not legal for the emulator to include.
