Yeah, but most people here were incapable of reading/understanding that
Is there any?Maybe their using the Wii U's 3DS connectivity to further 3DS hacking.
Wii U to 3DS connectivity ... yes (at least from certain games. I'm not sure if any are released yet ... so both systems might need an update for it to be added but the concept sounded cool.)Is there any?
There will be some degree of connectivity in the future, now there isn't any (AFAIK). I wouldn't hope that it's a vulernable attack surface, as the DS Download Play wasn't cracked for a long time (and it still isn't, i think)Wii U to 3DS connectivity ... yes (at least from certain games. 3DS hacking ... also yes.
If it works anything like it did with the GBA, I'd assume it'd transfer some 3DS executable code over to the 3DS for the specific game and execute it ... but it'll probably be encrypted by all means.
Crashes that happen on their own generally aren't exploitable (and in this case, it sounds like the error is handled rather than a code dump). For one thing, there's no way to inject the code. Crashes that we cause by modifying the game's data are more likely to be exploitable, but even then it's still not guaranteed.Don't know if this is of any help , But I have so far gotten to error codes with the wiiu when playing assassins creed 3 and they both happen at the same part of the game. The first error code 150-1091 says if there a disk in the wiiu eject it power off the wiiu and unplug it. I can add pics if needed . The second error code 150-1031 says the disk might be dirty , clean it off and try again . Nintendo support site has no listing for these codes and I havent called them yet. Anyhow ,the error happens after completing the first mission and you have to climb up to the crows nest so you can see the new world , and then the ubisoft credits start running for about a min as it approaches .
The reason why I am posting this is maybe this could be some sort of glitch that might allow other code to be executed maybe ? or maybe its just a fucked up disk . I'm renting the game from gamefly and it doesnt appear to be scratched at all.
If this info helps at all I can post a video or pics of when it happens.

What "X days left"? The only "X days" phrases I've seen are the ones indicating the length of time between the WiiU being released in Europe (where many of fail0verflow are based) and the relevant post. (e.g. the first one was 8 days, 8 days after the release of the WiiU. The next was 11 days, 11 days after the release. etc.)Hmm, to the point of hashes... Guess they want to tell ninty that they are in... Ninty hashes their whatever keys and compares to what has been published... Matching... too bad...
Then "X days left" becomes a sort of white mailing. Similar to what happened in xbox scene?
Ps: don't bash me, only guessing
So this, I assume, will soon appear on their blog under the title "18 days"fail0verflow @fail0verflow

And just to make it clear, this is from a WiiU, not a PC
This is a pretty big deal lol.... Front page it ?

Nintendo probably made a mistake and only check the last 4 bytes of the SHA.
This would make it very easy to pad a file to pass the check.
This is exactly the same mistake they made with the Wii but then it was on a single byte.
