should I buy a psvita to mod? And what models are best for homebrew and modding?

Hello!!! The PS Vita is far and away the best hand-held gaiming platform to own, due to it's enormous modding and hacking community. I've got 3 Vitas that are hacked, but my original PS Vita 1000/3G model I've kept from hacking. Trust me, get a Vita and HACK THE LIVING CRAP OUT OF IT, you'll totally LOVE what you can do with this console.

My recommendation is to get a 1000 model (the original FAT BOY model), not the 2000.

The 1000 has an OLED screen (like a lot of hi-res TV's you see at Best Buy or wherever you shop) which is definitely clearly visible compared to the 2000 model.

I'm not against a 2000, it's got a battery that lasts one more hour than the 1000. I guess what you shoud do is research each model and then choose wisely.

Finally, you can't go wrong so long as you are confident with your Vita purchase.
