I don't smoke, but I don't think this is a cracked up idea - also it won't last since, as plenty people said already, tobacco lobbysts will sink it. The fact that Sunak made this a free vote is also setting it up for failure.

Have they looked at their streets? People who are addicted to smoking and drugs will do it regardless. If only it was as easy as banning.

When you ban something, it just makes people want it even more.

They also added 20 MPH signs for drivers to drive slower, but they're not really doing it.

Conservative government my ass.

Completely unacceptable, and I don't even smoke cigarettes anymore. Egregious infringement of freedom that should be met with mass protest if it becomes law.
