So recently I got into emulation and decided to dump some games from my switch to my PC. My switch has been homebrewed for a while now without any problems. Now I needed to boot another payload to dump some files over (I believe some key files, I was following the guide from yuzu's website). I enter hekate and pressed shut down and reboot to RCM, and suddenly, the switch will not boot. I know it's not in RCM, the screen isn't dimly lit. I've tried doing a hard shutdown and that didn't seem to change anything, I have autoRCM on so I didn't need to insert my jig, but just in case, I tried inserting the jig again and booting it like that, that didn't work. Tried charging it overnight, still not booting. The PC doesn't recognize it with and without the RCM driver. The only solutions I've seen is to restore the nand, but I can't because it doesn't boot up. Is it a hardware issue? Am I doing something wrong?

Edit - I was using a faulty cable and I'm and actual idiot. whoops.

    @Xdqwerty, No. Whenever you use the internet on Windows, Microsoft collects personal data and installs bloatware that isn't necessarily needed, such as Edge.

    Speaking of which

    @SylverReZ,
    I recall @impeeza mentioned some trick about not having bloatware when installing windows where you set up your country to "world" or smh like that

    Yes, you can debloat the operating system, but in some cases for me it just reinstalls them.

    I also recall my brother downloded a "non bloated" version of windows 11 on his pc

    @Xdqwerty yes, when you are installing Windows on the first steps you are asked for your current location, you MUST to select «international» so no bloatware is installed, because the bloatware is location based. if this night I have some time I will setup a VM and take screenshots.

I even explained to him about file sizes multiple times...

    @Psionic Roshambo, Yeah, BonziBuddy was both spyware and ad-ware. It collected children's personal information without consent as well as display fake Windows popups.
