Hey there guys, doing great?
Well, don´t want to get things much longer so I´m gonna be straight to the point, I have a 3.0.1 Switch and I´m not sure if I should update or not
The thing is, I´m not certain yet if I´m going to install homebrew and such on it, the thing is, I definetely will buy Smash Bros next December and play with the online part and such, but, I was thinking about getting a second switch just for this, and, have this old one available for future homebrew, like emulation and such
But for now, what I´m worried about is missing important updates to a possible hacked switch in the future, for what I know, I don´t even have the ability to use the Gamecube adapter, right? I´m afraid that, in the future, I might want to use homebrew on my old switch and be "stuck" in the 3.0.1, without being able to update cause Nintendo already made a "newer" update that can block potential homebrew software
I know it´s a common debate here and I already saw discussion about this in the forum, but none of those addressed this part with the Gamecube adapter for example, so, what you guys think? I´m right to think about updating now, that I have the current Switch features working and homebrew also still works, or, the option of keeping it on 3.0.1 will assure me that this feature can be easily implemented in the future by the mod community?
Wanna hear your opnions on this, and, of course, thanks a lot for the ones that are reading already! ^^
