There and Back Again

I haven't really been an active member of this site in the past year, and I'm not really sure how I should explain myself. Well, I suppose a part of it does have something to do with the fact that my laptop crashed a couple of years ago, and I was without a laptop for almost a month. After that, I kinda got busy with school--still am--and by the time I felt like going back, I wasn't really sure if people even remember me or not.

And then came the summer of '09 when a net friend of mine and I fought. I'll not talk about it, because it's a rather childish and immature topic, but it still hurt me pretty badly. So badly enough, that I was content to leaving my interaction with other people to a downright minimal. We're still not talking, and I don't know if we ever will again. But anyhow, that's pretty much another reason why I didn't come back. I just wasn't that eager to talk to people, you know?

This past year is somewhat therapeutic to me, to be honest. I went to Ottawa during October thanks to Encounters with Canada, and I met some great people there.

Haha. Good to be back! Although maybe we should change my name to distracted rather than distorted. xDDD Two years of MIA seems like the biggest distraction I've ever had. :3

Bloody hell, you've definitely had an eventful time while you've been away! I went to Ottawa once with school when I was living in Canada. Definitely a very nice place. Although I got into trouble when I refused to shake the Prime Ministers hand (it was Brian Mulroney at the time)! lol

And as I said before, it's great to have you back!

it's really been too long..and don't be silly..of course you're not forgotten! You never were forgotten..

As you can see, recently we got new staff additions, great members were promoted, and I'm really happy about it. There is a creativity contest right now, about designing GBAtemp t-shirt.
There is also a GBAtemp related shop called shoptemp opened fairly recently..

Lots of things, too many to remember it all, or point it out right now, you'll catch up with time.
I only hope you won't go missing again any time soon

At this point, with new staff forces in, I'm considered an "old mod"

Lots of current regulars joined after I became staff, so they see me like that from the start.

Radioactive Forces are still strong as long as I'm "in the game"

however, there wasn't much activity in the blog or on boards regarding that. I mean, I promote Radioactivity all along, as it's part of my personality

And Minox, well, he became a mod recently, together with.....well, check the thread: http://gbatemp.net/t224323-staff-changes
