The Canadian retailer, which specialises in import gaming hardware and software, has seen the personal information of 21,000 users compromised, according to
Eurogamer.
Details such as names, encrypted passwords, dates of birth and phone numbers have been posted online.
It is advised that any members of the website should change their password immediately.
Videogamesplus.ca has yet to confirm whether the hacking has taken place.

GAME was reportedly hacked earlier this week, before a spokesperson said the claims were "entirely false".
