Can't Reproduce Can't seem to be able to insert images into my posts?

When I click the Image button above the textbox when I'm posting, and paste an image URL into it, nothing happens. The picture doesn't appear in the textbox and when I preview my post, no picture is there. I'm new to these forums so maybe it's just because I'm a noob, but does anybody know what might be going wrong?

Can you post an example url of a picture you're trying to post?

Just something like that. That's just a random picure of a dog from google images.

click on the image icon

and then paste the Direct Link to the image.

It should look something like:

Sorry for the really late reply... been pretty busy. Well I tried it just now and it suddenly works so I guess that's good . Thanks for the replies everyone.
