Cinnamon Rolls (Zimtschnecken) – 350KB photo

Yes, I sometimes (not always!) like to use baking mixtures as I'm lazy and the results are good. Go ahead and make fun of me because of this.

It is not even easy to make this particular things. The dough is very sticky, needs some extra wheat flour added when rolling out and is overall hard to handle. But the result is sooo tasty.
By the way: The package says I should have gotten 14 rolls – only got only 10 (already ate one… so tasty). Just too small and thin when cutting the dough in 14 parts.

I've been told not too long ago that only old women bake things and therefore are interesting in buying flour and plant oil (which is both needed to make this). I like baking. Guess that makes me officially a senile, old woman now.

Those look a bit dry at first glance.
But usually, you can fix momentarily the "stickyness" of dough by freezing it for couple minutes.

A sticky dough will often result in a softer and humid bread.

Those looks really nice, and I'm reading they're made of a boxed mix?

Next time try doing it yourself.
Nothing more than Wheat Flour, Eggs, Milk, Melted Butter and Dry/Active Yeast. Make the dough (must be kinda sticky, but manageable, and mix Brown Sugar with Cinnamon and a bit of melt butter. Spread in on your dough, roll it, cut it, and bake it.

Why would I make fun of it? Times changes, I cook everyday, I make cakes, bread, pastries, cookies, and regular food. There's nothing wrong in mem cooking whatever we want in the way we want.
