I... didn't know that. Mine's cleaner though because it doesn't have the messy commit history

I found a typo in the ezkernelnew.c
line #168 u16 gl_color_cheat_black = RGB(00, 00, 00);
this does not change the cheat text color, It changes the text overlay color of the boot splash during boot,
and the background color of the writing to NOR screen
this should be probably be changed to something like "boot message color"

SuperDark theme and color fixes by me "f3bandit"
This should be easier on the eyes than the original simpleDE dark theme

That wasn't my doing and I probably won't be fixing it because I've got other plans.

Well, I seem to have lost another save and I'm pretty bummed about it. I thought I had the backup option enabled but it doesn't appear to be doing anything. Is there a trick to get it to work? Under the options, the "disabled" button is not selected so I assumed it was on, but there's nothing in my backup "SAVER" folder. What am I missing? (This is version 1.2 btw).

are you restarting the system after exiting the game? are you just copying the new kernel to your sdcard, or flashing the new kernel by holding R during power on of the system to flash the new kernel as well?

SimpleDE Update v1.4:
- Merge recent changes with K1.04 that fix addon support for Goodboy Galaxy and update FAT32 Filesystem driver.
- Original Omega users do not need to upgrade.

Hello! So I found this thread while trying to find a solution to a problem I have. I just got my EZ flash cartridge, and it works great, however apparently due to some firmware issue, I cant play the NES classics gba games. Like the games would start, but the buttons do nothing. While looking for a fix to this, I found someone linking this thread and saying that downloading this theme would solve the issue, however now whenever I try and boot up those games, it tells me "Game Pak Error". Does anyone know how I might be able to fix this?

(Also unrelated question, but is there a way to make it so the game boy advanced start up screen doesn't start every time i play a rom)

First I would update your ezflash with the latest stock firmware from ezflash. Do this by putting the newest official firmware on the root of your ad card. While booting the cartridge hold down the right shoulder button and you will see the firmware flash screen. Once finished. Repeat this again with the simple firmware for your card eg omega or omega definitive edition.
Once that's done you should be good to go. Make some folders for your different systems roms, etc.
As for the intros you can seard the Internet for no intro roms, or no intro patches. Romhacking has an online patcher for any kind of patch you might need.

So I did this, downloading the latest kernal file and putting it on the SD card and updating, and then repeating with the simple firmware, however nothing changed. It still wont let me play those roms.

I'm guessing maybe there is an issue with the roms. Maybe source them from somewhere else and test those

Yeah nope, same issue.
I'm guessing this is a new issue. I just tested it myself and I get the gamepak error as well.
There must be something different about these roms. I'll look into it when I get home.

I'm guessing the newest patch is not working. But according to the Internet there is ips patches to fix those roms so the will work. Those particular roms I believe are mini rims so there a lot of random fluff stripped from them. This fluff was used as a form of copy protection. The mini systems don't look for that data to verify anything. They just run the rom.
