i have been playing a lot of batman arkham origins on my wii u lately (40% completion even got all the enigma datapacks), when i saw a mod that improved the fps (https://gamebanana.com/mods/53981) i was going to install it since the fps in that game is kinda mid and the mod may improve my experience with the game, im not sure if i can install it since it seems like it is a cemu mod, i have no experience with mods on the wii u, at all, but im sure i can do it. the game is installed on my usb drive, the wiiu is a 32gb model with tiramisu (not aroma since idk how to migrate to aroma)

thanks

SDCafiine lets you load mods without permanently altering the original game. I have used it to load the fan-created Extra Side of Stories mod in Pikmin 3, but that was a while back, so I can't advise you from recent experience. https://zeldamods.org/wiki/Help:Using_mods suggests Cemu mods may be in principle be used on console, but I'm sure that things like ReShade won't. I don't know which category your Batmod falls into.

https://wiki.hacks.guide/wiki/Wii_U:SDCafiine described how to use it on Tiramisu and links to the Title ID database for you to figure out where to put the files.

I know the pricing of electronics nowadays isn't "how much it actually costs" but "how much we can get away with", but putting up a poll is just cynical.

Nah I'm getting value creep again. I look at a $50 console "but for just a few more dollars you could get XYZ" and I end up considering the Steam Deck.

like you port everything to pc except the one game where it would make the most sense. why. what do you gain from this
