I was able to compile sonic mania for android with touch screen capability. you do need a mod to initiate them, which is in this link. the folder is named CEM.

Thanks for sharing this, is it supposed to include the black-screen fixes that were pushed today? Using the apk you included I still get black screen with sound on my Mali-GPU based phone.

that I'm not sure. it would black screen on many phones, including mine, but now it works on mine, but there's still a black screen problem for the people it worked with. I don't know what's going on.

btw, I'm using a mod for gl3, which I think is the black screen fix. my rsdkv5 is decompiled just into a data folder. and, bluetooth controllers work with the touch screen, just tested.

I managed to get a working apk by following the build instructions at
https://github.com/MisterSheeple/Sonic-Mania-Android-Build-Guide
and using the latest commits. Very happy to have finally set it up on my phone
