Simple way to mix up Pokemon team building

If you find yourself always gravitating to the same members of your team every time you play through a title (it's hard to not always use Staraptor in DPPt) and want to mix it up, here's a simple way to challenge yourself without making the game necessarily harder:

Use Gigacalculator's Random Picker to enter all the types available in the game, then get it to choose six at random. You now have six randomly chosen types that you need to build your team around.

Or, make it choose twelve, pair them up into existing combinations, then build your team from those.

I do this if I can't trust myself to choose from my same old favourites or all the 'good' team members available in a generation.
