Happy 4th of July

Happy 4th of July to everyone in the US.

What is everyone doing for the holiday?

Me and my family are having a BBQ/pool party. We invited all our friends and neighbors over, then going to light off a ton of fireworks we got from Mexico. =P
We bought 20lbs of carne asada, 10 packs of hot dogs, and 10 packs of hamburger patties, so I think we're pretty much set as far as food goes.

We make a mass exodus to Alabama to get our pyrotechnic porn.
Woah, woah, woah...I thought I sensed another Georgia boy in you. Something about that demeanor cried southern skillet. :P

Eh, for us, not much. We live pretty far from family, so we're just keeping to ourselves, watching what seems to be another Twilight Zone marathon.

Well I pointed that out when you were made a moderator. :P
North GA Mountains Represent!

If you're watching the Twilight Zone marathon too, I hope you saw last night's Time Enough at Last and Terror at 20,000 feet.

Okay, I've gone completely off topic now.

You know, I do have black powder..... I ought to just make my own pyrotechnics.
Going to a Dodger game (first time ever, and I hate baseball, but it'll be fun, I think) with my older brother's in-laws.
Nice I'm a Huge Dodgers fan, It's just a shame what their greedy owner has done to the team. Laughing stock of the league...Did you have fun at the game? I went last Sunday and had quite a few beers and a margarita at some ridiculous prices I might add (10$ per beer for domestic 11$ per beer for import).
Beards are a fire hazard on the Fourth.

Happy Independence Day, to all my neighbors.

Now go blow shit up. (just not yourself, your family, neighbors, friends, pets, et cetera)
We were lighting off a ton of fireworks, but we kept getting really nervous as one of my friends has a daughter who's like moth to a flame with fireworks. She sees the lights and wants to run up and touch them we had to stop her at least 10 times.
Great Britain actually. The Declaration of Independence occurred 69 years after the Acts of Union. :teach:
If only I knew when the Acts of Union were. :(

Yeah, my brother's grandpa in-law and my mom were tearing him a new one on our way to the stadium. They HATE the guy.

I had a lot of fun. Luckily, my family got in free because my bro's in-law is quite well-off, and he got tickets on the third row, as well as some passes for free food for the entire game. Plus, the game was fun to watch (sucks the Dodgers lost though), unlike on TV imo. Fireworks were awesome, and I felt lucky for getting to go. It was a great day.

That's awesome I have season tickets, but I haven't been going as much and instead give the tickets to friends/family to use. I'm just a bit tired of all the disappointment they've been bringing lately(they're almost the worst team in baseball record wise). Dodger stadium has always been known for having a great fireworks show i probably would have gone had they been playing a bit better, but we decided to organize our own fireworks party instead.
