What's wrong with the world...

Today, I was reading the news on the Yahhoo! website, and I saw that a guy discovered a baby in her friend's freezer in France (he was cleaning her flat while she wasn't there). In another city, a baby was found dead in a river. His umbilical cord was uncut. And in Grece, 2 teenagers killed a 80 years old man for 10 euros (~12$).

I know that our world is not perfect, but when I see things like that, I just think that humans are not better than animals...

^ This, unfortunately.

This is why I'm hoping 2012 is real. Just end this madness and start over somewhere new.

Humans ARE animals. We are just more intelligent than the rest of the animals, however this does not make it impossible for us to be like that.

he's like your dad, sitting on a coach, spamming potato chips and beer and channel surfing, with the only differences that he is in the sky somewhere and his coach is a few thousand years old...

dog spelled backwards.

the human race has gone to shit. A dog is more reliable than its owner these days.

Animals may not be as intelligent, but that makes them more inclined to keeping the earth in tune. Our race is too intelligent and greedy for our planet to handle

No.

Sounds like you need an anatomy lesson...

The umbilical cord attaches the baby to the placenta. The placenta separates from the mother after birth. You can birth the baby and then the afterbirth all without cutting the umbilical cord. It's not healthy, but based on the news... it doesn't sound like health was much of a concern here...

I think I'm going to lock me up in my room for the next 2 years, waiting for 2012 then.

What is with the Emo crap.

If you look at a massive crate of lovely fresh grapes and discover one of them is bad or gone off do we sit down in a heap and say "What is wrong with this crate of grapes." Hell no! It is only one bad grape out of billions.

Now cheer the fuck up. :yaynds:

Heh, that's a good way to put it. But everyday hundreds of bad grapes form. It adds up sooner or later.

Even if the entire lower portion of grapes has gone bad there are still billions of nice ones to enjoy. And there are fresh grapes being placed on top all of the time that if looked after properly will have less chance of going rotten.

There's a lot of theories of 2012.

Some say the world will collide with "Nibiru" a planet which orbits the sun but in an oval shape so we don't see it for thousands of years...apparently...
Others say Aliens from Nibiru will come and kill us/take us away/they built humans to be slaves for mining and now they dont need us... (alien hopefuls?)
Some just say the world will become technologically advanced (I don't know how)...
Others just say we all die.

I personally believe, nothing will happen, apart from the hotter summers and colder winters which happen right now :(

Sorry this is a bit off topic.

Welcome to "the" world.
Anyway you REALLY want 2012 is REAL? :O I don't, still don't want to die.
