Wad Manager by WANIKOKO

Current Version: 1.2
Since: 29.08.2008

I changed the Wad Manager V1.1 Channel into Wad Manager V1.2!!!

I kept the picture, because I like it and find that the owners (WANIKOKO) has the right to use only their picture!!!

If you already have the Wad Manager V1.1 Channel installed at your Wii, just install this one and the old one will be updated! No deinstall of Version 1.1 required!

I hate the code dumps too.
I installed Homebrew browser channel on my wii a while back. I used the wii shop channel banner(Which I thought was quite clever) but I do not use it any more because of the code dumps.

Dude, you seriously need to stop making channels that crash the Wii on exit. That defeats the whole purpose of using a channel, as opposed to launching something from HBC.

Channels should only be made for apps that allow you to return to the system menu when you quit. Getting up to hold the RESET button on the Wii for 5 seconds is not anyone's idea of convenience.

Too bad.

Thats how all channels that are made from Homebrew apps perform when hitting "Return to loader" or "exit" when its supposed to be run from the Homebrew Channel or any other loader.

Tell that to the developer of the program itself, not the channel maker as the only way to make channels from these apps is to use the .DOL from the Homebrew App. Tell the developers to put in an option that restarts the Wii. Thats what most of the Emulators have.

Good luck though, most developers dont support having channels made from their programs.

I have a few emulator channels as well as a Quake channel. Hitting "return to loader" initiates a code dump. Same result with Quake. Those apps are meant to be used with loaders, ie: Homebrew Channel.

Perhaps you should have re-read my post before writing such a long answer.

QUOTEChannels should only be made for apps that allow you to return to the system menu when you quit.

Homebrew that doesn't support returning to the Wii system menu was not meant to be used as channels. Hence, stop making channels out of it. A crashed Wii defeats the convenience of a saved step in launching the program.

Does someone have the download link to 1.21? I tried the Wanikno page but it just took me to a Spanish forum with no download link...
