    I think the best thing is Electrical tape, it's cheap, or you can use a super bonder, or something like that, in the place on the clip.. But try to put some tape on that (good tape), it will solve, just to keep the flat cable in contact with the pins.

    My wii is modded, and the SSBB is a backup game, I made everything, burn with the layer braker and those stuff. Before I change my laser, it was working perfectly but after that, it's not reading SSBB anymore..
