So i recently installed the widescreen patch for twilight menu++. It works and all, but im playing pokemon pearl right now and when setting the aspect ratio to 16:10 with the widescreas cheat enabled all the sprites of the characters get set to the correct proportional size, but some pixels are missing in the horizontal lines, therefor it starts looking weird sometimes, for example, when walking left or right, it looks like the pupils are just gone. Is there a way to fix it?

Edit:
After some closer inspection, what is Probably happening, is that the resolution itself is getting stretched! I dont know if this is normal or not, but i doubt it! The games that are supported show all assets in the right places, yet they appear pixelated and weird because the native resolution is being stretched to the wider screen. If anyone has had a similar issue, please let me know

eventually this desktop is going to act as a server too, just for the hell of it. Because this PC is WAY fucking overkill for how little I use it.

And once I do that, my desktop OS that I interact with is just going to be a virtual machine and use GPU passthrough to connect everything
