well i don't think guideline is that necessary anymore, since you guys are smart enough to get codes~!
at least just bear in mind....the following

you must understand how you level up? how you gain level? why here you don't encounter... why there you need this and that

just like searching for money? why would you know what to do? because the money is either increased or reduced?

why would you gain level? because you got some experience after a battle? and how to get max level?
well simple .. just level up a few times by searching the increase value

why would you won't have any sort of encounter in town? because it is switched off... and having encounter when you are outside of a town .. because it is on ?

all these things are just logic~! ..

and it will not always work this way ~! sometimes you might modify something else

I understand, and I tried to use 22, but it didn't work for me. Came up with "?" instead of tickbox elixir.

I think i found a cheat which makes your kart with Mario Kart ride slower I know it sounds a bit strange but i tested it on my DS(R4(+No$GBA) and it made me ride something like 20% slower

Here is the code: 0116EAA1 00000010
Dunno or it was just something with my eyes or it really worked but could you guys test it too?

Hmm... how exactly did you even MAKE this code Veristical?

Also... It probably does make you ride 20% slower... due to lag. Do all the other karts (your opponents) go 20% slower as well?

I've fixed my tutorial so it works better now.

Sorry Curley~! Could you change my tutorial for me please?

These are the steps that need to be changed: 3 and 14.

3. Click on "Search" at the top of EmuCheat, and change the "Search Type" to 16bit.

14. Click on Utility, type in the first part, with "12" at the start

And the code should be 1221205C 0000270F.

I found that with my previous tutorial i got random numbers for my Infinite Lives, but after elixir's explanation I changed it to 16bit... and now it works as 9999.

by disecting it ...

8 bit is

16 bit is

all these codes simply works and provide the same effect to the game...
but it is long
so using a 32bit code would make things look neater and of course less work

@Hehe Moo my oppenents were driving slower too with the code, and it wasn't a lag(i think cuz it didn't go totally slower only the karts)
@Elixir I just did somethings like with the examples and looked around a bit in the thread for things which can help you, i think i found the code by accident!

i tried to make the karts drive faster instead of slower

I've made a little tougher example, just if anyone wants to try something that isn't just lives or money
We are going to make a code that changes you character while walking trough a door
@curley: U may add it in the tut if u want
I took a game that everyone must have played before (can't imagine that someone doesn't know this one)

MARIO 64 DS (E)
1: ok so open up MARIO 64 with No$GBA and emucheat (if you don't know how to do that stop reading NOW xD )

2: If you do not have finished the game before we will need to activate this code (witch unlocks all castle doors):
1209CAA4 0000FFFF
2209CAA6 000000FF

3: run the game and enter the castle then go to the door at the upper floor - right

4: connect emucheat to NO$GBA

5: while still being yoshi goto emucheat and search for the math symbol "?"

6: now go into the door with an green "L" on it ( u will now become luigi)

7: now search with math symbol "!"

8: go into the door with a red "M" on it (u will now become mario)

9: search with the math symbol "!" again

10: go into the door with a yellow "W" on it (u will now become wario)

11: search with the math symbol "!" again

12 go into the door with the green "L" again

13: continue until u have just a few results left ( the result will in this case be 09CAE1 XXXXXXXX)

14: now test a little bit using the "refresh" button and you will find that mario=0, luigi=1, wario=2 and yoshi=3

15: this is clearly a 8-bit value so our adress becomes: 2209CAE1

16: so mario= 2209CAE1 00000000 luigi= 2209CAE1 00000001 wario= 2209CAE1 00000002 and yoshi= 2209CAE1 00000003

17: now lets add activators and terminators to it:
