A new movie!

This week my friend Nathan and I filmed a new movie, called Awkward Moments 2. Everyone that I had talked to thought it was hilarious, and we enjoyed making it, so a sequel seemed right.

I spent a lot of time on the visual effects for this one. I know some of the shots aren't perfect, but it is really difficult to do because the movie was shot in SD. Never again am I filming a machine gun scene (or at least at that angle). Trying to animate the second machine gun in Nathan's left hand was crazy hard. I had to mask his right arm, and move that mask every time his arm moved, so that the shells and blood would fall behind that arm . Then I had to find the right time to add the muzzle flare. It was a nightmare, hahah.

It's actually pretty funny. But it needs slightly more unexpected situations than standard awkward ones.

Hmm, thanks, something to think about if we decide to do a third one.

Yeah, I figured RATM portrayed Randy's anger quite well, hahah. I had only heard Wake Up from their first album, but I decided to buy the whole album on iTunes anyways. That was definitely a good decision, as it's basically the soundtrack to the first Awkward Moments.

Thanks! I agree, and we don't want to over do it. If we do make a third one, it won't be for a while, and it will be different. We should have some other movies coming out soon though, and they will all be shot in High Definition.
